An electrode assembly is provided to prevent overdischarge by forming pin holes on a ceramic separator to cause microdischarge, thereby improving safety of a lithium secondary battery. An electrode assembly includes two electrodes having different polarities and a separator(230). The separator comprises a porous layer formed by joining secondary particles together with a binder and has pin holes(235) that are channels capable of growing lithium dendrite, wherein the secondary particles are obtained by partially sintering or dissolution-recrystallizing primary particles of a ceramic material having a band gap. |
