An apparatus for testing the adhesive strength of a coating layer is provided to fix a specimen of a coating layer to a mounting table and detach a tape from the specimen with predetermined adhesive strength while maintaining a predetermined detaching angle. An apparatus for testing the adhesive strength of a coating layer includes a support member(18), a mounting table(20), a tape detaching device, an elastic band, and a tape. The mounting table(20) is disposed above of a first side of the support member(18). The tape detaching device is disposed above a second side on the support member(18). The elastic band is attached on the top surface to fix a specimen of a coating layer. The tape has a first side end attached onto the surface of the specimen and a second side end attached to the tape detaching device. The tape is detached from the surface of the specimen at 45 degrees. |
