A tag antenna and a tag using the same are provided to secure high distance stability by having little change of a communication distance due to an attached object. A tag antenna includes a dipole antenna, a feeding unit, and an inductance unit(12). The feeding unit is formed at the center of the dipole antenna to mount a chip thereon. The inductance unit is connected to the feeding unit in parallel to a dipole of the dipole antenna. The dipole antenna is formed in a rectangular swirl shape by being curved inwardly from both ends of curved units(11-1,11-2,11-3,11-4) of four places, which curve the dipole. The whole length of the curved unit is shorter than a half of an antenna resonance wavelength when the curved unit is stretched in a straight line.
