<p>The device for arranging or deforming shaft work pieces, comprises a lifting device (3), which is propelled by an impact plunger (4) on the work pieces (3), two supports (5, 6) that are supported between the workpiece, and a measuring device (11) coupled with a force sensor. The measuring device measures the duration of the movement of the plunger during machining process of the work pieces. The force sensor(s) is and/or are arranged at the plunger and/or at a pressure piece, which is attached at the plunger of the lifting device and/or at one of the supports. At the measuring calliper of the path sensor, acceleration measuring system is intended, which is directly contacted with the work pieces.
