The invention relates to a displaceable gap cover in the setting range of a gearbox selector lever. The gap cover is made of a flexible flat material (9) and several sliding elements (11, 12) which are distanced from each other in the direction of displacement are arranged on two opposite-lying parallel edges which are oriented in an oblique position with respect to the direction of displacement. Said sliding elements are displaceably mounted to enable the gap cover to be moveably guided on both edges between both guiding surfaces (15,16). The first sliding element (12) of the sliding elements(11,12) of one edge which are distributed in the direction of displacement of the gap cover (3) exclusively slides into contact with the first guiding surface (15) and the second (11) of the sliding elements (11,12) of the same edge which are distributed in the direction of displacement of the gap cover (3) exclusively slides into contact with the second (16) guiding surface (15,16) of the gap cover (3). |
