A method for driving a retaining wall having a narrow space with an adjacent structure by using a movable shaft rotating unit is provided to be performed even when the space between the retaining wall and a peripheral structure is narrow. A method for driving a retaining wall having a narrow space with an adjacent structure by using a movable shaft rotating unit includes the steps of: installing a frame in the retaining wall; installing the movable shaft rotating unit in a frame; engaging a movable shaft(30) and a punching bit(50) so that they cannot be rotated with respect to each other and forming a through-hole in the retaining wall; separating the punching bit from the movable shaft; engaging the movable shaft and an auger drill so that they cannot be rotated with respect to each other and excavating the soil by inserting the auger drill into the through-hole of the retaining wall; and withdrawing the auger drill from the soil.
