PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform information management and to facilitate application to various fields such as copyright protection and security by giving unique identifiers (unique ID) to individual authoring programs. SOLUTION: When a manufacture records an authoring program 101 on a CD-ROM 1, a program 102 is also recorded in an electronically readable state at the same time. When a user having obtained the CD-ROM 1 installs the authoring program 101 in his or her personal computer PC, the program ID 102 is electronically read out and installed in the personal computer PC simultaneously with the authoring program 101. Then, an authoring program 121 and a program ID 122 are copied and recorded on a hard disk 12. When the program is copied to another computer, the illegal act is found by checking the program ID 122. |
