Charging device (10) for charging an oven (12) with bulk material (52) comprises a conveyor base (20) at least partly surrounded by a housing (18), an inlet (22) and an outlet (24), and at least one first and one second closing element (28, 30) separating a first chamber (32) within the housing from an upstream second chamber (34) and a downstream third chamber (36), which is preferably designed for gas-tight connection to an inlet opening (16) of the oven. The conveyor base is arranged at an angle of a maximum of about 20[deg] to the horizontal. The device also comprises a vibrating drive (38) for conveying the bulk material toward the outlet and a loading device (46) for loading the inlet with bulk material in the horizontal or a slightly inclined direction. |
