The system has subsystems (2a, 2b) for controlling supply quantity of respective pumps (3a, 3b). An interconnecting valve mechanism (11) controls the connection of a supply line of the pump of one the subsystems with a supply line of the pump of another subsystem. The valve mechanism separates the subsystems in a non-controlled load in a blocking position (11a), and connects the subsystems in a controlled load in dependent of the supply quantity of one of the pumps in a connecting position (11b).
