<p>In the image processing apparatus relating to the invention, number of pixels P 1 of image data of medical image inputted from an image generating apparatus is compared with number of displayable pixels P 2 of an image displaying apparatus representing an output destination, and when P 1 ‰ P 2 is satisfied, and medial images are displayable as they are on the image displaying apparatus, image data (original image data) are outputted as they are to the image displaying apparatus, after image processing, and when P 1 > P 2 is satisfied, and not all the image data of medial images are displayable on the image displaying apparatus, image data are subsampled so that they may be displayable on the image displaying apparatus representing the destination for output, and both of subsampled image data and original image data are outputted to the image displaying apparatus.</p> |
