A double axle motor and a window type air conditioner having the same are provided to simplify the structure and to slim a motor, and to reduce a total size of the window type air conditioner by including an outer rotor type double motor. A double axle motor(1) includes: a stator; a rotor(20) provided at the outside of the stator so as to be rotated by the stator; a motor cover(40) covering a surface of the stator which is not surrounded by the rotor, and having an axis through-hole; an projected axis(30) connected to the rotor and arranged so as to pass through the axis through-hole. A window type air conditioner having the double axle motor includes: a main body forming appearance of the air conditioner; a guide dividing the inside of the main body into an outdoor part and an indoor part; a double axle motor provided in the main body, a rotor of the motor being rotated at the outside of a stator and the axle being projected toward both front and rear sides; an indoor fan connected to the axle of the motor so as to be rotated in the indoor part; an indoor heat exchanger changing air in the indoor part; an outdoor fan connected to the axle of the motor so as to be rotated in the outdoor part; and an outdoor heat exchanger changing air in the outdoor part.
