A cathodic catalyst for a fuel cell is provided to ensure superior activity and selectivity for a reduction reaction of an oxidant and excellent stability under an acidic atmosphere. A cathodic catalyst for a fuel cell includes a Co-Fe-O-N active material. The active material has a structure represented by the formula 1 of (Co_aFe_b)O_cN_d, wherein 0.1<=a<=0.9, 0.1<=b<=0.9, 0.001<=c<=0.01, and 0.001<=d<=0.2. The active material is carried on a carrier in an amount of 10-80wt% based on the total weight of the catalyst. The carrier is a carbonaceous material selected from the group consisting of graphite, denka black, ketjen black, acetylene black, carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, carbon nanowires, carbon nanoballs, active carbon, and combinations thereof. |
