<p>A method for processing an incoming paging call in a MSC(mobile switching center) is provided to allocate the same job ID to a primary paging and a secondary paging to prevent the response of the primary paging from being rejected even though the response of the primary paging arrives later than the starting of the secondary paging. A MSC(mobile switching center) allocates a specific job ID to an incoming call in a paging control block to attempt the primary paging to process paging with respect to a subscriber for the incoming call according to the request for an incoming call establishment of a HLR(home location register)(S32). The secondary paging is attempted by allocating the job ID for the primary paging to a call of the secondary paging when the primary paging is failed(S37).</p> |
