<p>A resist for printing, and method for forming a pattern by using the resist are provided to allow a resist to be transferred precisely on a printing roll and a substrate and to reduce the processing time by omitting the development for patterning a resist. A resist for printing is transferred on a printed board and a substrate in turn after it is coated on a printing roll, wherein the cohesive energy between the printed board and the resist and the cohesive energy between the substrate and the resist are larger than the cohesive energy between the blanket formed on the surface of the printing roll and the resist. Preferably the total cohesive energy of the resist to the printed board and the blanket is larger than the fracture energy required for fracturing the printing resist coated on the blanket.</p> |
