METHOD FOR PROVIDING SERVICE BETWEEN HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS

A method for providing a service between heterogeneous networks is provided to provide the optimum service to a mobile station in a system connected between a portable Internet and an IMS network. The first message including an authority token is received to provide a service to a portable subscriber terminal in a communication system cooperating with heterogeneous networks. The authority token is authority information for bearer resources. A flow ID is created to distinguish at least one service flow based on session description protocol information of the portable subscriber terminal. The second message including the authority token and the flow ID is transmitted. The first message is an SIP 183 message.
