A PUSH SWITCH IN WHICH A COMPRESSION COIL SPRING FOR URGING A SLIDER IN THE DIRECTION OPPOSITE TO A PRESSING DIRECTION OF THE SLIDER IS PROVIDED BETWEEN THE SLIDER AND A MOVABLE CONTACT, AND THE SLIDER IS PROVIDED WITH DRIVING PORTIONS FOR FORCIBLY TILTING THE MOVABLE CONTACT BY ENGAGEMENT WITH A DRIVEN PORTION OF THE MOVABLE CONTACT DURING RECIPROCATION OF THE SLIDER. IN ADDITION, AN OFFSET POSITIONAL RELATIONSHIP SUCH THAT THE COMPRESSION COIL SPRING ALWAYS PRESSES DIAGONALLY A CONNECTING END PORTION OF THE MOVABLE CONTACT IS EMPLOYED IN THE PUSH SWITCH SO THAT ONE SIDE OF A SUPPORT PORTION OF THE MOVABLE CONTACT IS ALWAYS ELASTICALLY BROUGHT INTO CONTACT WITH ONE RECESS WALL OF A SUPPORTING TERMINAL.(FIG. 2)
