The method involves illustrating a printing block (01) in an illustration station (02), and transporting the block from the station to a form-cylinder in an automated manner. The block, which is effectively connected with the cylinder after entering into a transport module (06), is conveyed from a tray of the module. The movement of the block and the mounting of the block at a mounting place are supported by a rolling unit integrated in the module.
