An event selectable game apparatus and a method for the same are provided to enable a game player to set up events directly to increase interests of the game, and to let the game player set up an expected event and bonus points. An event selectable game apparatus includes an input portion(210), an output portion(220), a storing portion(230), and a control portion(240). The input portion senses the operation from a user and transmits it to the control portion. The output portion outputs game related information. The control portion outputs event list information via the output portion, receives event selection information produced by user's selection via the input portion, produces event setting up information, and adds bonus points to game player's game points when an event occurs during the game.
