The invention refers to medicine, in particular to rheumatology.The method of tophaceous gout diagnosis consists in that to the patients with gout it is carried out the clinical and paraclinical examination and there are established the following parameters: presence of geode symptom (G), elbow joint affection (AC), presence of urolithiasis (U), keeping to a diet with purine low content (DI), use of diuretics (DIUR), affection of the small articulations of hand (AM), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (VSH), then it is calculated the discriminant function (F) according to formula:F= - 4,727 + 2,316*G + 0,584*AC + 1,244*U +1,372*DI + 1,207*DIUR + 0,354*AM + 0,054*VSH,where the mentioned parameters acquire the values:G:�0 û absence of geode symptom�1 û presence of geode symptomAC:�0 - absence of elbow joint affection�1 û unitalateral elbow joint affection�3 û bilateral elbow joint affectionU:�0 û absence of urolithiasis�1 û presence of urolithiasisDI:�0 û nonkeeping to a diet with purine low content�1 û keeping to a diet with purine low contentDIUR:�0 û non-use of diuretics�1 û use of diureticsAM:�0 û absence of unilateral affection of the small articulations of hand�1 û unilateral affection of the small articulations of hand�3 û bilateral affection of the small articulations of hand.Where F >0 it is established the tophaceous gout diagnosis, and where F<0 û the gout diagnosis, nontophaceous form.
