<p>An apparatus for receiving broadcasting, a method for transmitting status information, and a data structure for the status information are provided to previously transmit information about a function or a state of the broadcasting receiving apparatus to a broadcasting transmitting terminal and transmit the status information of a host to the broadcasting transmitting terminal by having a DVR(Digital Versatile Recorder) function. A host(100) comprises a first tuner(101a) which tunes a specific channel frequency and outputs the tuned channel frequency to a first demodulator(102), a second tuner(101b), a demodulator, a multiplexor(103), a demultiplexer(104) which receives a multiplexed broadcasting signal, divides the multiplexed broadcasting signal into plural streams and outputs the streams, a decoder(105) which decodes the received broadcasting signal and outputs the broadcasting signal as video/audio signals which a user can view, a DOCSIS decoder(106), a receiver(107), a switch (108), a transmitter(109), a controller (110), and a DVR(Digital Versatile Recorder)(150) which includes a DVR controller (151), an encoder (152), an interface (153), and a storage device(154).</p> |
