The method involves connecting an output of a tuner-integrated circuit (IC) on a surface wave filter (SWF) with an intermediate frequency processor, where the processor comprises a digital level meter e.g. 8-bit level meter. The level meter is used for mass comparison and also for a comparison incase of a service. A level is measured and an evaluation circuit is input, during application of signals of a certain channel to a radio frequency (RF) input of a tuner. A tune changing parameter for a component of an individual circle is determined and stored.
