The device has fixing section (20,21) bent such that a radial bearing surface (26,27) between the spring device (1) and the brake caliper is broader in a circumferential direction of a brake disk than the thickness of the metal sheet of the spring device. The device links a brake caliper up on a vehicle support in a radial direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for the manufacturing of spring device.
