The device has a filling and locking device for filling a flexible container (30) with a filling material such as medicine, and for locking the container, where the container is made of plastic. An electrical heating unit (40) provided on a wall (20) sterilizes the filling material present in the container. The receiving device is divided into two halves which are joined together to receive the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling and locking a container.
