<p>A data processor and a data processing method are provided to process a bit stream having different bit array sequences in common, simplify data supply to the data processor, and realize fast data supply. A first array changer(30) changes the bit array sequence into a reverse sequence of a direction reverse to respective bit blocks of the bit stream formed by a plurality of bit blocks. A buffer(40) temporarily stores the bit blocks of which the bit array sequence is changed by the first array changer. A first processor(50) reads bits included in the processed bit block from the bit array sequence stored in the buffer by a bit unit, which is a processing unit. A second processor(70) processes a different bit block from the bit block processed by the first processor. A second array changer(60) reads the bit included in the processed bit block from the bit array sequence stored in the buffer, changes the bit array sequence included in the buffer into the reverse sequence, and transmits the reverse sequence to the second processor. A controller(90) determines to change the bit array sequence by using the first or second array changer according to a type of the bit stream.</p> |
