A timber frame retaining wall is provided to allow installation of the retaining wall on a curved topography by forming a plurality of positioning recesses in a notch material and by making the lengths of transverse members different. A timber frame retaining wall includes a plurality of notch members(1). The notch members are horizontally disposed. A front surface transverse member(2) and a rear surface transverse member(3) are vertically stacked. The front surface transverse member and the rear surface transverse member are positioned at both end portions of the notch member to connect the adjacent notch members. Two positioning recesses(11) are formed on the upper and lower sides of a front end portion of the notch material respectively. Two positioning recesses are formed on the upper and lower sides of a rear end of the notch material. |
