An apparatus for washing and disinfecting endoscope and a brush cassette detachably attached thereto are provided to remove the influence by the length of an unused period, and to secure good washing capacity. An apparatus for washing and disinfecting endoscope includes a device body(2), an upper cover(3), and a brush cassette(20). A washing tank(4) and a mounting portion(5) for mounting a brush cassette are formed on an upper part of a housing(2A) of the device body. The washing tank includes an operation portion mounting portion(6) and an insertion portion mounting portion(7) on which an insertion portion(52) of the endoscope is wound. A brush cassette for washing the conduit of the endoscope is detachably disposed on a cassette mounting portion(5) formed near the operation mounting portion.
