A plasma display panel is provided to perform address discharge and to improve discharge uniformity by forming a crossing surface discharge structure and making a uniform distance between an address electrode and a second electrode. A first substrate(10) and a second substrate(20) are arranged to face each other. A barrier rib(16) is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate in order to define discharge cells. A phosphor layer(19) is formed in each of the discharge cells. An address electrode(11) is extended in a first direction on the barrier rib corresponding to the discharge cells. The address electrode has a first width in a height direction of the barrier rib. A first electrode(31) is extended in a second direction crossing the first direction on the barrier rib corresponding to the discharge cells. The first electrode has a second width in the first direction and is formed on the second substrate. A second electrode(32) is extended in the second direction and has a third width in the height direction of the barrier rib.
