A method for evaluating reproduction durability of an optical disc and an information reproducing device is provided to evaluate reproduction durability of the optical disc with high accuracy in a short time by using two kinds of laser beams of reproduction power having different power levels. A method for evaluating reproduction durability of an optical disc comprises the steps repeatedly reproducing the optical disc by using at least two kinds of reproduction power laser beams having different power levels, setting a log of number of repeated reproduction as a longitudinal axis at when a characteristic value for the reproduction number is changed, and when the characteristic value reaches to a certain value. An inverse of the reproduction power is set as a horizontal axis.
