A method, an apparatus, and a system for announcing spurious occurrence using an SMS(Short Message Service) are provided to swiftly prevent deterioration in the quality of mobile communication services by monitoring spurious occurrence in real time and rapidly notifying a supervisor of it through a short message. If the waveform of an RF signal is received together with the ID, sector, and FA information of a specific BTS(Base Transceiver Station) from a BSM(Base Station Manager)(S310), a spurious notification unit samples and quantizes the RF signal waveform periodically, converts it into a binary code, and obtains a noise strength corresponding to the binary code from a noise strength table stored in a database part(S320). The spurious notification unit compares the obtained noise strength with a preset critical value(S330). If the obtained noise strength exceeds the critical value, the spurious notification unit increases the noise detection count by '1'(S340), and confirms whether the noise detection count is more than the maximum detection number(S350). In case that the number of the noise detection is greater than the number of maximum detection, the spurious notification unit determines that a spurious wave has been generated, and stores the ID, sector, and FA of the specific BTS in the database part(S360). The spurious notification unit searches the database part for the mobile number of a supervisor, who manages the BTS, creates a spurious occurrence message, and sends it to the supervisor's mobile terminal(S370,S380).
