A fire and smoke preventing screen shutter tightly fixed to an evacuation door as one unit is provided to help a greater number of people to escape through the evacuation door in a short time, while effectively protecting people from fire and smoke on the other side. A fire and smoke preventing screen shutter includes a main body(10), an evacuation door(100) tightly fixed to the main body as one unit, a T-BAR. To enable the screen shutter main body to move vertically, a roller is housed in a roller cover(20). When a fire breaks out, the screen shutter main body slides down along a guide portion(30). The T-BAR is constituted of an opening/closing portion(230) connected to one side of a metal bar(210) at the bottom of the screen shutter main body, and a magnet portion(220) connected to the other side of the metal bar. The opening/closing portion works by a hinge(231) screwed onto an opening/closing bar(233), and the magnet portion containing a magnet(222) functions to fix the evacuation door.
