A backlight lamp fixing socket is provided to achieve a simple structure of the backlight lamp fixing socket by pressing and fixing a terminal of a backlight lamp with a fixing arm of an actuator through rotation of the actuator. A housing(10) includes therein a reception space receiving a backlight lamp terminal. An elastic contact piece(30) contacts and maintains the backlight lamp terminal in the reception space. An actuator(20) is rotatable around the housing. The elastic contact piece includes a reception portion(31) where the backlight lamp terminal is to be mounted. The housing includes a rotary shaft(12) for rotation of the actuator and a protrusion portion(11) limiting a movement of the actuator. The actuator includes a recess portion(21) receiving the protruding portion and a fixing arm(22) for fixing the backlight lamp terminal.
