A storage device is provided to control a large storage medium such as a flash memory capable of data rewriting by using a compact control circuit and access data written in the large storage medium at a high speed. A non-volatile memory(2) includes physical blocks. A logical block manager sets the physical blocks selected from the non-volatile memory to a physical write block, manages a unit area dividing the physical write block into each page over the physical blocks as a logical block, and allocates a logical address to the logical block. An address controller(5) specifies a storage position of the logical block based on the logical address. A data reader/writer writes and reads data from the non-volatile memory according to specification of the address controller. If a write request and the logical address are received from a data I/O(Input/Output) device(7), the logical block manager generates link information representing connection of the pages forming the logical block among the physical write blocks by determining the logical block as the physical write block and writes the link information to the non-volatile memory. |
