A method and a system for providing a commerce service are provided to facilitate user authentication and strictly keep security for the user authentication to provide the commerce service, and facilitate connection to a commerce providing server for providing commerce information. A portal site manager provides a portal site for enabling a terminal to request the connection to the commerce providing server or contents. A connection manager connects the terminal to the commerce providing server if the terminal requests the connection to the commerce providing server through the portal site. An authenticator authenticates a terminal user if the terminal requests payment for commercial products to the commerce providing server. A payment processor performs the payment for the commercial products of the authenticated user. The authenticator includes a flash memory card authenticator checking whether a flash memory card for storing the contents downloaded from the portal site is the authenticated flash memory card, a user authenticator checking whether the terminal user is registered to the portal server, and a mobile commerce server. |
