A plasma display panel is provided to improve a light room contrast by increasing a ratio of a black part in a non-discharge region. A first and second substrates(10,20) are disposed to face each other. A barrier rib(16) is disposed between the first and second substrates in order to define discharge cells. A phosphor layer is formed in each discharge cell. An address electrode(11) is extended in a first direction on the barrier rib corresponding to the discharge cells. A first electrode(31) and a second electrode are extended in a second direction crossing the first direction and are formed on one of the first and second substrates corresponding to the discharge cells. A dielectric layer(13) is formed to cover the first and second electrodes. The dielectric layer is colored with a first color. The barrier rib is colored with a second color. The first and second electrodes include bus electrodes(31b) disposed in both sides of the first direction of the discharge cells. Each of the bus electrodes includes an inclined surface(131) to a vertical direction from vertical sections of the first and second substrates.
