<p>This invention relates to an article, and more particularly (though not exclusively), to an article used for lamps; as well as a method of manufacturing such an article. There is provided an article comprising a thermoplastic sheet, wherein a first edge of the thermoplastic sheet is bonded with a second edge of the thermoplastic sheet to form the article. There is also provided a lamp comprising a light source exchangeably fixed in sockets mounted in the framework of the article. Finally, there is also provided a method for manufacturing an article, the method comprising preparing a thermoplastic sheet having four edges; bending the thermoplastic sheet; and bonding a first edge of the thermoplastic sheet with a second edge of the thermoplastic sheet.</p> |
