FIELD: production of absorbing articles formed as napkin-trunks. ^ SUBSTANCE: disposable napkin-trunks type absorbing article with lateral device for fastening at both sides has lateral fastener comprising front and rear side flaps with elastic parts. Inner surface of rear side flap is overlapped by outer surface of front side flap and is welded to said outer surface. Each side flap is provided with one detachable fastening means which is located so that welded connection zone is positioned on at least one of elastic parts and so that it is positioned inward of detachable fastening means in preliminarily secured state. Method involves forming zone for securing of overlapping members by connecting front and rear side flap members together and attaching side flap members to absorbing basic member. ^ EFFECT: simplified fastening of absorbing article. ^ 19 cl, 19 dwg
