FIELD: oil production, particularly safety devices for cable lines, which supply power to submersible electrical motors and centrifugal pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises body and cable groove, as well as orifices for pin receiving. Body is made as flange with orifices for pin receiving, which mate orifices made in submersible electrical motor or centrifugal pump connection flange. Cylindrical recess to be joined with protector flange extension is created in upper body part. Lower body part has cylindrical extension with grooves, which receive O-rings. The cylindrical extension corresponds to cylindrical recess of connection flange adapted for submersible electrical motor connection. Side flange surface has slot with sides to be joined with that of connection flanges included in submersible electrical motor and protector. Inner slot surface mates cable section in evenly spaced locations. Slot is formed so that cable may be inserted in the slot only after cable rotation about axis. ^ EFFECT: increased operational efficiency and extended turnaround time. ^ 2 dwg
