<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color irregularity from occurring in a backlight of a liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: An LED device comprises: an LED chip of red color system; an LED chip of green color system; an LED chip of blue color system; a substrate on which the LED chip of red color system, the LED chip of green color system, and the LED chip of blue color system are mounted; a first convex lens with which the LED chip of red color system is sealed; a second convex lens with which the LED chip of green color system is sealed; and a third convex lens with which the LED chip of blue color system is sealed; where optical axes of the first, second, and third convex lenses are independent from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
