<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device which performs inverter drive to avoid the appearance of a pulsation component of an integral multiple of an AC power frequency in a primary current. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter device comprises: a smoothing means 3 in which an output voltage of a rectification means 2 rectifying AC power 1 pulsates at a double frequency of the AC power frequency; a DC-AC conversion means 4 which converts a smoothing voltage of the smoothing means 3 to an AC voltage for driving a motor 5; and a PWM signal generation means 6 which generates a signal for driving the DC-AC conversion means 4, on the basis of a command from a rotation speed control means 7 which controls the number of revolutions of the motor 5. The inverter device also comprises a rotation speed control compensation means 8 which compensates the rotation speed control means 7 so that the inverter device is not fixedly driven for a time not shorter than an AC power 16 cycle at the number of revolutions of the motor at which the product of pairs of poles of the motor 5, the number of revolutions of the motor, and the number of times of PWM commutation at one cycle of an electric angle becomes an integral multiple of the AC power frequency not higher than forty orders. The inverter device is inexpensively constituted, and avoids an influence of a strain component of an integral multiple order of the AC power frequency which appears in the primary current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
