PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin molded object capable of easily obtaining desired strength by uniformly distributing reinforcing fibers and good in production efficiency, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Fiber bundle plates 4, 4, etc., which are constituted by longitudinally extending glass fibers 5, etc. as a large number of reinforcing fibers gathered and held into a plate shape by a holding material 3 comprising a urethane resin material almost same to the urethane resin material constituting the matrix 2 of a synthetic railroad tie body 1, are preliminarily provided in the matrix 2 of the synthetic railroad tie body being the synthetic resin molded object molded from the urethane resin material. A large number of these fiber bundle plates 4, etc. are provided in the matrix 2 in parallel so as to leave a definite interval and, in a state that the synthetic resin material constituting the matrix 2 is interposed between the rows of the fiber bundle plates 4, etc., the matrix 2 and the fiber bundle plates 4, etc. are integrally fixed.
