PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color processor and a color processing method for reproducing an image on condition that it is observed in a plurality of environments. SOLUTION: An environment color signal acquiring section 2 acquires a reproduction color signal when a first color signal is reproduced in a plurality of observation environments, respectively. Some observation environment is set as a standard observation environment and a corrector 3 converts a reproduction color signal corresponding to an observation environment other than the standard observation environment into a corrected reproduction color signal, which is a color signal under the standard observation environment by using a color adaptation model or a color appearance model. Since comparison becomes possible in the standard observation environment; an evaluator 4 calculates an evaluation value for the corrected reproduction color signal thus converted, based on a reproduction color signal corresponding to the standard observation environment. A color signal generator 6 generates a second color signal by performing weighted average of the corrected reproduction color signal having a calculated evaluation value above threshold, and a reproduction color signal corresponding to the standard observation environment with a weight set at a weight setting section 5.
