PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation temperature adjustment, and to stabilize set temperature by preventing displacement, deformation or the like of components in the temperature adjustment, in a thermostat for controlling the inside temperature of a refrigerator or the like. SOLUTION: By arranging a temperature adjustment screw 106 and a transmission member 114 in directions opposite to each other with respect to the center axis of a cam plate 118, and by arranging components to allow the temperature adjustment from the side of a thermosensitive element 102a in the temperature adjustment, the temperature can be easily and surely adjusted without causing contact between constituent components and a screw driver for adjustment or the like, whereby this thermostat capable of reducing working manhours, allowing the operation temperature to be surely adjusted without causing trouble such as displacement or deformation of the transmission member 114, a cam follower 116 and the like which are the constituent components, or contact between the components, and stabilized in quality without easily changing the set temperature can be provided.
