PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide measures on a piston ring side for inhibiting aluminum adhesion for a long time by improving the wear resistance of a coating film formed on the piston ring side without reducing the heat dissipation performance of the piston ring for an internal-combustion engine. SOLUTION: In the piston ring for the internal-combustion engine, at least, the resin coating film primarily consisting of carbon black particles is prepared on the side face which collides against and slides on the piston ring groove of the piston.
