PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems on a conventional water stopper which mainly functions for water stop and has independent equipment separately set for filtering foreign matters, preventing a backflow and controlling a flow amount, that foreign matters often flow into a water distribution pipe in relation to a change in the installation environment of the water stopper, resulting in the need for incorporating a strainer mechanism into a piping system and for shortening a face-to-face distance of a stopper body. SOLUTION: At the side on the secondary side of a ball valve 2, a water flow chamber 23 is provided to which a unit body 3 is fitted with a valve seat formed on the upper face and a filtering screen set on the side periphery. A valve chamber is provided at the upper part thereof, in which a valve rod water stop valve having a floating valve element attached to the front end so as to be seated on the valve seat of the unit body for elevating operation and a check valve 5 in a secondary side water flow port are set.
