PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction material allowing even a single worker to build a bearing wall of a wooden building with material beauty easily. SOLUTION: A wooden hollow block comprises two side plates 2 and a plurality of studs 1. Grooves 7 for allowing the studs to fit into are vertically formed at the inner side of the two side plates and the studs are fitted into the grooves and are fixed with screws 3 in such a way that the studs partly protrude from upper ends of the side plates in a tenon shape. When stacking the hollow blocks to form a wall, the tenon shaped studs of a lower block are inserted into mortices of the side plates of an upper block so as not to cause horizontal slippage.
