PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish up curling eyelashes adroitly and beautifully. SOLUTION: A rod member 4 for curling eyelashes is constituted of a tape 1 having an adhesive layer 5a all over the rear face 1a and a separate paper sheet 5b thereon and being elastic and flexible and as large as to cover the eyelid, and a rod 3 having a curved surface 3a bonded to the surface 1b of the tape 1 along one end 10a for wrapping eyelashes around the same and a rod 3 having flexibility and made of, for example, a natural crude rubber material. It is used as follows: bonding the adhesive layer 5a of rear face 1a of the tape 1 at its one end 10a, to which the rod 2 of the tape 1 is bonded, to an eyelid along the hairline of eyelashes, pulling up the other end 10b of the tape 1 toward the eyebrow side in a state where the end 10a of the tape 1 is bonded to the eyelid to raise the eyelashes from their root sides and bonding the unbonded side portion of the adhesive layer 5a of rear face 1a of the tape 1 to the eyelid in such a manner as to keep it raised.
