PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of checking the quality of a circuit board of an ink-jet recording device, which converts input image data into recording data. SOLUTION: According to the method of checking the circuit board (140) of the ink-jet recording device 100, firstly the first image data is converted into the recording data (S117), and thereafter the recording data is transmitted to a checking device (S118). Then in the checking device 200, the recording data is converted into second image data by dot depiction for displaying (S131), and the second image data is compared with master data for determining the quality of data, to thereby determine the quality of the second image data (S134).
