A cylindrical lock has a body and cylindrical core placed in it with possibility of rotation, this has a key channel for flat key. At both sides of channel ion side openings with possibility of motion in length of opening there are locking pins. In the opening there is only one locking pin, this at side of key channel has rod and at opposite side it has side cut for locking element. In the side opening one over another there are several movable locking plates, those at one side has sharpened end going to key channel, and at other side a spring that is supported by opposite to key channel side of side opening, and inside it has movable element that is in opening at wide side of locking plate at given distance from sharpened end. Both ends of side opening are closed by lower cover that has spring-supported shell, and upper cover with locking pin that at side of locking plates has pin in shape corresponding to movable element, and at opposite side it has blocking boss going out of boundaries of the cylindrical core to the body depression. The flat key has key depression for interaction with sharpened and of the locking cleat. Such implementation of the lock and key increases reliability of use thereof.
