METHOD FOR PRODUCING REMOVING AGENT OF SULFUR OXIDE IN GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a removing agent which is inexpensive, has high performance and is used for removing sulfur oxides in exhaust gas by using ammonia and to provide a method for removing sulfur oxides in exhaust gas by using the removing agent and a method for cleaning the exhaust gas to be generated when sintering is performed.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the removing agent comprises the steps of: neutralizing the ferrous ion-containing waste water to be generated when steel is pickled; oxidizing a ferrous ion contained in the waste water to produce a precipitate containing ferric hydroxide; dehydrating the precipitate; and molding the dehydrated precipitate. Exhaust gas is brought into contact with the produced removing agent to remove sulfur oxides in the exhaust gas.
