<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance insertion workability into a through hole of a grommet for protecting a wire harness, while preventing the entry of water into a body panel of a vehicle, in a through hole formed in the body panel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This guide member 9 is used when inserting the grommet 1 inserted with the wire harness 11 into the through hole 10 formed in the body panel 9 of the vehicle. The guide member 9 is made to have a cylindrical body part 80 into which the grommet 1 can be inserted.
